The Titan WatchmanSonic is an electronic oil tank gauge that continuously monitors the heating oil levels within the tank and transmits the data to a receiver plugged into an electrical socket in the home or office. The WatchmanSonic is a wireless replacement/alternative for a dip stick or sight level gauge. The WatchmanSonic oil level sensor prevents the user from running out of fuel by continuously monitoring the heating oil levels and alerting the user when the tank requires refilling.
The WatchmanSonic consists of a green transmitter that is fitted to the top of the tank and monitors the heating oil levels and transmits this to a receiver plugged in the home or office. When the heating oil levels drop below 10% the fuel dispensing pump symbol is displayed on the receiver as a reminder to the user that more oil needs to be ordered and ensuring that the user does not run out.
Key Features and Benefits:
In a closed hot water circuit water cannot be compressed so any expansion in volume, created by an increase in temperature, needs to be accommodated by the expansion vessel. When the water is cold the pre-charge pressure forces the membrane sack, within the vessel, to collapse until the pump is started when the sack starts to inflate. As the temperature in the hot water circuit increases, resulting in the expansion of the water within the circuit, the expanded water enters the sack creating additional volume and lowering the pressure in the hot water circuit. As the water temperature drops the pre-charge pressure force the water from the sack back into the hot water circuit.
