Sentinel X400 Central Heating System Restorer 1 Litre

Sentinel X400 System Restorer Liquid is formulated for cleaning existing central heating systems with a significant amount of corrosion debris affecting the efficiency of the central heating system and boiler. X400 System Restorer Liquid is ideal where a new boiler or pump is to be fitted to an existing central heating system or where radiators have developed cold spots due to the build-up of sludge, a black iron oxide deposit commonly found in untreated central heating systems.

One Sentinel X400 System Restorer Liquid 1 Litre is sufficient to treat a system with 8 to 10 radiators; larger system will require a second cartridge to sufficiently restore the system to optimum performance. Once the system has been dosed the X400 System Restorer Liquid should be circulated around the system at normal operating temperature with all the valves fully open and the pump turned to full flow for at least 2 hours or until the system is restored to optimum performance. For badly affected system the circulating time should be extended, e.g. up to 4 weeks; however X400 System Restorer Liquid will not be able to clear completely blocked pipes. There are no limits to the number of times a system can be treated with X400 System Restorer Liquid but it is recommended that for best results that it is used in conjunction with a power-flushing device. The X400 System Restorer Liquid is simple to use:

• For open vented systems the system is dosed via the feed/expansion cistern via a bypass feeder or using a sentinel dosing vessel 
• For sealed systems that have not been filled add the X400 via any convenient access point.
• For sealed systems that have already been filled inject the X400 using a sentinel dosing vessel via the filling loop or any other access point.
