The Sentinel System Filter is a central heating filter capable of removing both magnetic and non magnetic particles commonly found in most central heating systems. Common debris such as iron oxide sludge, scale, casting sand, welding debris and non ferrous metal flakes that can cause the premature failure of valves and pumps as well as significantly reducing the energy efficiency of the boiler and central heating system. A reduction in efficiency is caused by build-up of deposits forming blockages which means the boiler has to work harder to compensate and so increases fuel consumption causing a rise in fuel bills and carbon emissions.
