Biomass Boilers

A Biomass Boiler runs on fuel derived from organic matter, most commonly from plant material, called Biomass a fuel that is referred to as carbon neutral. This is because the plants that the fuel is made from absorbs the same amount of CO2 that is released when burnt while it is growing and so not adding additional CO2  to the atmosphere. Biomass Boilers are a cleaner alternative to fossil fuel burning equivalents and are ideal for properties in areas without a mains gas supply. The most commonly Biomass fuels used are wood pellets, made from waste wood from industrial processes, and wood logs which are readily available from suppliers across the UK.
